Adam Mrozek

Adam Mrozek was a painter, draughtsman and designer associated with Częstochowa. In 1993 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied under Stefan Gierowski. He also worked in industrial design, including interior lighting. The starting point for his paintings was observed reality, which he transformed through imagination. In his own description of his work, he invoked fairy tale, play and computer games as elements in building his own world on canvas. The note for the memorial exhibition at the Konduktorownia in Częstochowa presents his output, juxtaposing his final paintings with works from earlier years.
