Founder

Robert Włodarczyk

He wanted contemporary art to have a home in Kraków, and young, talented artists to have a gallery that supported them.

The gallery was founded by Robert Włodarczyk, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. We continue in the same spirit and in his memory: with a personal approach and time to talk about every work.

History

Three decades, two addresses

  1. 1995

    First exhibition

The gallery opens in the historic cellars of Hotel Grand at ul. Sławkowska 5. It remains there for over twenty years.

  2. 2019

    Kamienica Krauzowska

We move to ul. św. Jana 12, by the Main Market Square. The building bears the name of councillor Krzysztof Krauze, whose initiative led to the eagle being added to the coat of arms of Kraków.

  3. Today

    Exhibitions and art sales

Several times a year, we hold solo exhibitions by artists who work regularly with the gallery. We sell their work, and our collection also includes works from studios abroad.
