Andrzej Fronczak

Andrzej Fronczak, born on 1 October 1959 in Brześć Kujawski. He works in easel painting and drawing. He has had 47 solo exhibitions, including in Lubań Śląski, Koszalin, Słupsk, Włocławek, Ciechocinek, Warsaw, Toruń, Bydgoszcz and Szczecin, as well as in Chicago, Detroit and Paris. Member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. Participant in 64 regional, national and international painting plein-air workshops. In 2009 and 2016 he received the Mayor of the City of Włocławek Award for culture, and in 2012 a distinction. In 2010 he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit for his social and cultural activity. He has taken part in over 200 group exhibitions and competitions, 9 of them international. Recipient of awards and distinctions. His works have been exhibited in Poland, as well as in Germany, the USA, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, Italy, Ukraine, France, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. His paintings are held in museum collections, state institutions, galleries and private collections in Poland and abroad.
