Anna Masiul-Gozdecka

Anna Masiul-Gozdecka is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. A characteristic feature of her work is a bold approach to colour, visible in both realistic and abstract works. Her colour is emotional, strong, energetic and always positive. Viewers often say that her paintings are at once calm and energetic, which accords with the aims of this painting. It carries a message of soothing emotions, developing the imagination, and seeking beauty and positive things despite life's difficulties. The artist feels a strong bond with nature, which is why in her paintings we can often discern forms that recall organic shapes – leaves, stones, flower petals. Equally important is the exploration of contrasts and textures of paint, and of compositions which, combined with emotions and the depth of colours, invite us to embark on an adventure of painterly interpretation. The artist has taken part in over 15 group exhibitions and 15 solo exhibitions, and her paintings are in collections around the world, including in the USA, England, Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
