About the artist

Dana (1962). An artist of positive emotions. Combining drawing with painting, DaNa has created an original style characteristic only of her work. She graduated in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. DaNa's works are held in, among others, the Mosan Museum, the Gukje Art Museum and the Daegu Museum in South Korea, the Art Museum of China in Hangzhou (China), and in the collections of numerous galleries in Poland and abroad, including in Milan, Berlin, Venice and Seoul. She won a competition for crystal form designs organised by the IRENA Glassworks – DaNa's collectors' series were presented in over sixty countries around the world. In 2015, as the only painter from Poland, DaNa was invited to take part in the International Art Symposium in Mosan, South Korea. MAIN SOLO EXHIBITIONS: - 2003 – Arsenal City Museum, Wrocław; - 2011 – Dom Artysty Plastyka (Visual Artists' House) – ZPAP Warsaw Branch, Warsaw; - 2011–2014 – Circle of Time – Performance Festival – Centre of Contemporary Art, Toruń; - 2015 – Jang Eun Sun Art Gallery, Seoul, South Korea; - 2015 – Gukje Art Museum, Daegu, South Korea; - 2015 – Hernandez Art Gallery, Milan, Italy; - 2016 – ZPAP Łódź Branch Gallery, Łódź; - 2016 – Berlin Art Festival '48 Stunden Neukölln', Berlin, Germany MAIN GROUP EXHIBITIONS: - 2017 – exhibition accompanying the 57th Venice Biennale – Palazzo Zenobio, Venice, Italy; - 2018 – International Project LABORATORIUM VENEZIA: 'La Via dell'Ambra e la forma Ovi', Badoere, Italy; - 2018 – International Exhibition at the Chinese Art Museum in Hangzhou, where she presented her art among distinguished artists from around the world.
