Kaja Solecka

Born in 1974 in Kraków. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in 1998. 1995–1998 – painting in the studio of Prof. Janusz Tarabuła at the Faculty of Interior Architecture. She works in painting, printmaking and photography. She has had solo exhibitions and has taken part in group exhibitions in Poland and in the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, France and Morocco, including: 7th Autumn Art Salon, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (2004); 'Into Europe' – New Art for New Reality, The Bloxham Galleries, London (2004); 'Valentine Show', The Bloxham Galleries, London (2005); 3rd National Biennial of Painting and Unique Textile, Tri-City 2005; 'Art Forward' Enduring Power of Paint, The Bloxham Galleries, London; Chelsea Harbour Design Centre – 'Focus 2006', London; 4th Still Life Triennial, Sieradz (2006); 2nd National Biennial of Digital Miniature, Płock; Sport in Graphic Art – Gdynia 2009; 'Doors of Perception' – The Annexhibition, Crinan (2014); Young Art Market, NCK, Kraków (2015); 7th Still Life Triennial, Sieradz (2015); 'Presence et Tolerance', Musee Municipal, Agadir, Morocco (2016); Salon International de l'Academie Europeenne Des Arts-France, Paris (2016); Kobalt, Żywiec City Museum (2017); Vlask Gallery, Ghent (2020). Her paintings have been presented at international art fairs – AAF International Art Fair in New York (2007, 2008, 2010), London (2007, 2008, 2010) and Amsterdam (2008); 20/21 International Art Fair, The Royal College of Art in London (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011). Her works are held in private collections in Poland and abroad.
