Michał Kwarciak

Michał Kwarciak was born in 1983. He is a graduate of the Opus Art Post-Secondary Vocational School in Sosnowiec and of Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa. In his paintings, Michał Kwarciak shows his own world on the border between waking and dreaming, from pure realism to surreal fantasy. His works capture fleeting moments of dreamlike apparitions and visions from the world of dreams, but also real experiences of everyday life. He draws on observation of the world around him, of people, plants and animals. His artistic visions lead him to create ever new and ever more refined paintings. He has taken part in over a dozen painting plein-air workshops in Poland and abroad. He has presented his original paintings at several dozen group exhibitions and over a dozen solo exhibitions.
