Mira Skoczek-Wojnicka

Born in Kraków in 1959. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Faculty of Graphic Arts. Diploma in 1984 in the intaglio printing studio (under Prof. Andrzej Pietsch) and the lithography studio (under Prof. Włodzimierz Kunz). 1999 – Grand Prix in the 'Best Print of the Month' competition – Kraków 2000 – 'Golden Frame' award in the 'Small Painting' competition – Kraków 2001 – distinction in Premio Firenze 2002 – 2nd prize in Premio Firenze – Florence 2003 – 3rd prize in Premio Firenze – Florence 2005 – distinction in the 'Music in Painting' competition – Tychy 2005 2006 – Grand Prix in the 'Best Print of the Month' competition – Kraków 2006 – Distinction at the ZPAP Winter Salon 2006 – Finalist of the International Print and Drawing Competition – Taiwan 2007 – 1st prize in Premio Firenze – Florence 2007 – 'Golden Frame' award in the 'Small Painting' competition – Kraków 2010 – participation in the Polish Graphic Art Triennial – Katowice 2011 – Grand Prix in the L. Meidner Graphic Art Competition – Oleśnica 2012 – participation in the International Pastel Competition – Saint-Aulaye, France 2013 – Consul General's Award in the International Pastel Competition – Saint-Aulaye, France 2014 – distinction in the 'Small Painting' competition – Kraków 2020 – distinction in the 'Best Print of the Month' competition – Kraków She has presented her work in Poland, France (Paris, Collioure, Tours), Italy (Rome, Florence), Denmark, the Netherlands (The Hague), Spain (Segovia), Belgium (Brussels), Croatia (Zagreb), Hungary (Szentendre), and elsewhere. To date she has taken part in over 100 group exhibitions, and has had over a dozen solo exhibitions. Member of ZPAP and SMTG. She works in painting, drawing and printmaking.
