Weronika Siupka

Weronika Siupka is a habilitated doctor of art and a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. In my work I use a classical printmaking technique, in which etching is the leading medium. She has created two print series, "Fragments of the World" and Auto-da-fé. She has taken part in several dozen group and competition exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Major awards: Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, 2007 and 2009; scholarship of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, 2008.
