Roch Urbaniak
Roch Urbaniak was born in 1986 in Kraków. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the studio of Jacek Waltoś and in 2011 defended his diploma with distinction. During his studies he was a resident at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens. He is a painter and illustrator. He creates surreal, fairy-tale worlds in which he returns to legends, myths and folklore; in his paintings there appear mermaids, forest spirits and wanderers from distant lands.
