About the artist
Katarzyna Stelmach
Katarzyna Stelmach graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. In 1990–95 she attended the painting studio, and from 1993 also the graphic art studio. In 1994–1995 she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art. In her works she likes to use the multiplication of visual forms. She creates the composition and structure of her paintings by combining patches of paint and overlapping lines with traditional art forms. She paints with acrylic and oil paints.
