TADEUSZ KRÓL – printmaker, painter, educator. Born in 1960 in Końskie. He studied from 1980 to 1985 at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under Prof. Stanisław Wejman. He has won prizes and awards in painting and graphic art competitions, including: a distinction at the Leon Wyczółkowski National Painting Competition in Bydgoszcz (1988), the Grand Prix at the 4th International Graphic Biennale in Lubin (1989), and the Grand Prix at the Bharat Bhavan Graphic Biennale in Bhopal, India (1995). In 2007 he received a distinction at the 38th Bielska Jesień Painting Biennale from the monthly "Sztuka.pl". Author of the book "Learning to Paint", published in 2009 by Wydawnictwo Szkolne PWN. Holder of the Gloria Artis medal.
