About the artist
Edyta Purzycka
Edyta Purzycka is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She received her diploma in 1996 in artistic graphic art under the supervision of Professor Halina Pawlikowska, with an annex in painting and photography. In 1995–96 she was a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art. Since 1997 she has been a member of ZPAP (the Association of Polish Artists and Designers). In her works she uses several intaglio printing techniques (etching, aquatint, soft-ground etching, ink spatter).
