Wiesław Kwak

Wiesław Kwak (born 1963 in Sucha Beskidzka). Graduate of the A. Kenar State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zakopane (1978–1983). From 1983 to 1988 he studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdańsk. He received his diploma with distinction in the studio of Prof. Franciszek Duszeńko in 1988. From 1989 to 1990 he completed an internship in the sculpture studio of Prof. Jean Cardot at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Three-time recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
